The village of Bartoušov is located in the Vysočina Region and is located 5, 5 km southeast of the town of Havlíčkův Brod. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1281, when the German mayor Wernher gave the use of the adit Henning Schutwein in Partuzchdorf minori ie Little Bartoušov. Other sources state that in 1303 the village became part of the estate in Pohled and remained in its possession until the beginning of the 18th century.
The preserved documents also show that in the 13th century there were two Bartosov Bartousov Small, probably a mining settlement founded by German miners and Bartousov founded Bartolomej, where after the end of mining the German population withdrew and Bartosov ceased to exist. Until the 16th century silver mining took place in the village. Nowadays, 156 people live in our village.
