The town of Libáň is located on the river Bystřice in the southern part of the former district of Jičín, 12 km from this town. There are several historical monuments in the town. The originally early Gothic church of the Finding of St. can be considered the oldest. crisis. The baroque church of St. was built in Lebanon on the site of the original wooden chapel. Ducha, in which a rare baroque organ was preserved, which was completely restored in 1998. Among the more recent monuments, the monument of Master Jan Hus is significant. The three-hundred-year-old commemorative pine above the city in a place called "Na Horách" is considered the unofficial symbol of the city.
