City Golčův Jeníkov is located in the Highlands in the district of Havlickuv Brod. Our town has a rich history dating back to the 10th century, when there are visible signs of settlement, the first written mention of Golčův Jeníkov can be found in the 12th century Jarlochov. The dominant feature of the town is the tower of the Jeníkov bell tower, the town hall building on the TG Masaryk square, Golč's fortress and the chateau complex.
