Hošťálkovice lies at the confluence of the rivers Opava and Odra.
There is no unanimous opinion among the historians about the date of foundation of this village.
The oldest German written document from 1377, refers to the division of Opava region, and mentions the village Hošťálkovice. However, it is not clear whether this is our Hošťálkovice or Hošťálkovy settlement near Krnov.

Highlights:

 - Church of All Saints - the first reports of the existence of the Catholic
   the parishes with the church date from 1588, but the parish
   soon disappeared. In 1672 Hošťálkovice together with
