The activity of the Union of Railway Employees was renewed in the middle of 1991, and with this act it followed the historical date of 17 August 1896, when the Union of Railway Employees was founded.
The Union has become an organization open to all ČSD employees, which is committed to the interests of its members.
The essence of trade union activity is the offer and provision of services to Union members who are organized in local groups, but also to unorganized railway workers to whom we offer representation. This is primarily about collective bargaining and other negotiations at all levels of railway companies and state administration.
As an additional activity, we co-organize holiday stays, tours, sports tournaments and social events. Our calling card is representative balls of railway workers, trains full of smiles for fellow citizens with disabilities, special special train rides for Children's Day, Santa Claus trains and a number of other interesting events, during which we try to present the good work of railway workers.
The seat of the union is located at Hybernská 1014/13, Prague 1.
