The village of Staňkovice is located in the Central Bohemian Region in the district of Kutná Hora, only four kilometers east of Uhlířské Janovice. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1226. The village is associated with several smaller villages, namely Chlum, Nová Ves, Ostašov and Smilovice. At present, a total of 276 inhabitants live here.
We are members of the Union of Municipalities of the Uhlířskojanovicka and Central Posázaví microregions and LAG Lípa pro venkov z.s.

In our village, we organize a number of sports and cultural events every year, such as welcoming citizens, St. Nicholas' Day and a children's carnival.

In Staňkov and the surrounding settlements you will also find a number of sights, including the chapel in Nová Ves, the Statue of St. Donat and the bell tower in Chlum or monuments to fallen soldiers.
