The village of Anenská Studánka is located at the foot of the Orlické mountains, 10 km south of Lanškroun in the Pardubice region. The village currently has 168 inhabitants.
The dominant feature of the village is the church of St. Lawrence. Beneath the village is a source of healing springs, where a spa was established, today there is a home for people with disabilities, Domov u studánky.
The first written mention of the village dates from 1292, when it belonged to the Zbraslav monastery. In 1678, a spa was established at the healing spring, and in 1735, the Lichtenstein family (owners of the Lanškroun estate, under which the village fell) built a healing house. In the middle of the 19th century, the chapel of P. Maria Pomocnice was built in the area, which also serves as a place of pilgrimage
