The town of Dolní Bousov is a small town located about eighteen kilometers east of the district town of Mladá Boleslav in the Central Bohemian Region. The history of the town is archeologically documented until the Late Stone Age, the first written mention dates back to 1318 and Dolní Bousov was promoted to a town before about 1497. The town has seven parts and currently has about 2600 inhabitants.
