The village of Černožice is located 15 km north of Hradec Králové. It was inhabited already in the younger Stone Age. It is first mentioned in writing in the annals of the Abatovice monastery in 1197. The name Černožice was adopted by the old family of Malešické. The village also derives its emblem from them. The coat of arms consists of a silver shield with three blue wavy bars in the lower part. A green bridge with three arches rises from the upper beam. Above the bridge is a small red shield with the figure of a silver serpent bent six times like an ace.
