The town of České Heřmanice is located in eastern Bohemia in the Pardubice region, Ústí nad Orlicí district, approximately 7 km from Vysoké Mýt and 8 km northwest of Litomyšl. The first mention of the village of Heřmanice dates back to 1226. In 1960, as part of the territorial reorganization, the then separate village of Chotěšiny with its own cadastral territory was added to České Heřmanice. The villages of Netřeby and Borová are also part of the municipality. He currently lives in Heřmanice approx. 608 inhabitants.
České Heřmanice is a member of the Association of Municipalities of the Vysokomytsko microregion, the Association of Cities and Municipalities of the Czech Republic and the association of municipalities SO OBORA.
