The village of Řídelov is located in the district of Jihlava in the region of Vysočina. The village is located 8 km northwest of Telč at an altitude of 632 m. The cadastre of the village is 652 ha, of which 450 ha are forest land and the remaining ha are classified as arable land, meadows, pastures and ponds.
According to the available information, the first mention of the village of Řídelov with the original name of Řitlov dates from 1355. The forests mostly belonged to the "Roštýnské" estate, the village was then annexed to Telč.
Several "god's torments" and crosses are located in the cadastre of the village, which belong to the cultural heritage of the village.
In the immediate vicinity of the village there is a romantic flooded former quarry, surrounded by greenery, serving as a diving training center.
Currently, the village of Řídelov has 96 persons registered for permanent residence and 19 cottagers. The construction of family houses is planned for the future. A hostel has been newly built in the village to accommodate vacationers. We are also planning to build a grocery store, a restaurant and a fire station in the village.
