Obec Vrbovec

Municipal office. Population 1046.
The first written mention of the village dates back to 1243. The village has a winemaking tradition, and winemaking is still its most prominent feature today.
The village of Hnízdo also belongs to Vrbovac, which lies 3 km southeast of it.

Vrbovec is a border village located in a fertile agricultural landscape 7 km south of Znojmo.
