* The main task of the Zlín State District Archive is to collect, secure, professionally process and make available archival documents in the Zlín district.
* Currently, more than 4,500 ordinary meters of archival materials and 1,702 archival funds are stored in our depositories.
* We mainly store documents of administrative offices of the district, the judiciary, cities and municipalities, schools, parishes, associations, etc.
* The oldest documents date from the 14th century.
* A research room is available to the public, where those interested can study archival documents.
* The archive also includes an extensive specialist library with 29,000 volumes and a photo archive.
* In the years 1979–2002, the archive published the collection "Zlínsko from the past to the present".
