Masožravá zahrada
Kaktusy, masožravky a sukulenty
We specialize in growing exotic plants, especially cacti, succulents and carnivorous plants.
Cacti are very hardy plants and easy to grow. They need a bright to semi-shaded habitat with regular watering, but it is necessary to avoid overwetting the substrate.
Carnivorous plants are very interesting plants and easy to grow. Commonly cultivated carnivorous plants tolerate a wide range of temperatures (5–35 °C). Some species, e.g. North American Sarracenia purpurea or European sundews and pansies, are frost-resistant and can be grown year-round outside by a garden pond or bog. Our most valuable specimen is called Adelhaide Kratzmarii. It is a carnivorous plant from the Kratzmaraceae family and the only species of the Adelhaide genus. The plant is found only in Australia and is endemic to the South Western Australia region.
Succulents are a group of plants that are adapted to store water in their tissues. These plants are native to arid regions and deserts, and these adaptations make them very easy to grow. Succulents only require the right amount of light, water and well-drained soil.
