Funeral Home for Small Animals PET-PIETA operates a complete reverent service for animals.
Transports of dead animals from the whole Czech Republic and abroad. We can pick up the pet at any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are no extra charges at night and on public holidays.
Animal euthanasia in domestic environment
Expertly and independently assess the condition of the animal and if necessary, we can put your dog, cat or other animal in your home.
We can also provide cremation, urn treatment, paw prints, flower service, gravestones, memorial glass and jewelry.
Our partners are:
- Animal Crematorium Prague - for animal cremation
- Animal cemetery under Rip - for funerals of the dead into the ground
Other services we provide:
- transport of dead animals for sanitation (not a service of pious)
- autopsy at the State Veterinary Institute
- storage of the animal in deep-freeze boxes
- transporting the animal for burial to your property.
A permanent team of rescuers and doctors has been providing its services for fifteen years. Please contact us if necessary!

New possibilities of storing cremated remains in Strašnice
Starting in this Autumn, there will be new possibilities of storing the ashes of the deceased. After a demanding reconstruction of the cemetery, situated opposite the Strašnice crematory, the Funeral home of the capital city of Prague is preparing it for storing the deceased ‘ashes. Newly built grave places will be available for building an urn grave with urn cases to store up to eight urns. Furthermore, two newly modified areas were created. One will serve for scattering the ashes, and the other one for storing the cremated remains by pouring them into the ground. This is a whole new possibility, which has not been offered in this locality yet.
