Černá is a village in the district of Žďár nad Sázavou, Vysočina region.

The first written mention of the village of Černá dates back to 1464, when the Benedictines founded the village on the grounds of their monastery in Třebíč. They named it after the nearby forest "Černá". In 1556 it was acquired by Vratislav from Pernštejn with a purchase right, other owners included: in 1577 Jan Stránecký from Stránec and then Václav Chroustenský from Malovar, in 1620 Pavel Mošovský from Moravérín. In the period 1624 - 1918, the Italian princely family of Collalto considered the settlement to be theirs. In the years 1869-1880, Jersín fell under the Black municipality.
The village has a characteristic elongated shape and extends for a length of 1,200 m in the valley of Křivý potok, along the road to the district town.
