Cafe d´Elvert is a Brno coffee brand. The philosophy of this coffee is that you do not have to transport it from Italy, if you can have the same freshly roasted from Brno. Each coffee is roasted in small quantities to order so that it is not in stock for months. We want maximum freshness, so each bag has a roasting date.
Our coffee is a mixture of robusta and four types of arabica. Due to its balanced taste, it is predestined for espresso, but also for coffee with milk. With the ideal preparation, you will feel the sour taste typical of Arabs during the first sip, which then turns into dark hazelnut chocolate.
The name d'Elvert is an integral part of Brno's history, as it was a successful mayor at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. The street d'´lvertova, today Staňkova, was named after him. And it was on this street that we, the owners, met for the first time. The logo also shows the emblem of a horse, which symbolizes the restaurant where this coffee was made.
