The company MATERIAL AND METALLURGICAL RESEARCH s.r.o. is a research organization. The basic mission and strategic intention of the company is to provide technical and technological innovations and provide services in the field of metallurgy and materials engineering with the aim of
increasing the competitiveness of Czech metallurgy and heavy engineering. We perform experimental and comprehensive materials research in the field of metallurgy and materials engineering.

- research of advanced forming technologies and controlled forming processes using the universal plastometer SETARAM
- evaluation of conventional and unconventional material properties in an accredited testing laboratory of fatigue and brittle fracture properties
- verification of creep characteristics of materials
- chemical analysis and measurement of emissions in an accredited and testing laboratory
- structural and phase analyzes of metallic materials
- analysis of the causes of failure of metallic materials
- production of ingot steel up to 1700 kg
- production of castings from gray, alloy and special cast iron up to a weight of 700 kg.
The research activity is focused primarily on industrial enterprises in the Moravian-Silesian Region and other customers from all over the Czech Republic. The current cooperation with VŠB-TU Ostrava within the project “Regional
