Restaurant Obří sud is one of the most popular excursion spots in the Jizera Mountains. Visitors are attracted not only by the unique view of the entire panorama of the main ridge of the Jizera Mountains, but above all by the remarkable barrel-shaped structure itself, 14.15 m long, 11.4 m high and 10.5 m wide. It is entirely made of wood and has a volume of over 10, 000 hl . Inside it is a ballroom with a capacity of 160 seats, which are both on the ground floor and in the gallery. Another 30 seats are in the restaurant, which, together with the lounge with a capacity of 20 seats, is located in a building attached to the barrel. During the summer months, you can also sit on two terraces. The building has its own parking lot.
