Agricultural cooperative Kokory focuses on plant and animal production.
In animal production, it concentrates on milk production and beef cattle breeding. In crop production, the main crops are winter wheat, spring barley, oilseed rape, poppy, corn and hops.
Cattle breeding is focused on combined productivity - milk and meat production. On the Kokory farm, the basic herd consists of 260 dairy cows with a yield of 7, 000 liters of milk per dairy cow per year, breeding 200 heifers and 300 calves.
The Brodek center is fully focused on the production of slaughter bulls from own and purchased calves.
Currently, our agricultural cooperative farms 153 ha of hop fields and we are just one step away from being the biggest growers of this commodity in the Tršická region, even though we already hold the primacy in the cultivation of Žatec semi-early red hops, which is the most unwanted item in the world.
We also operate our own slaughterhouse in Brodek near Přerov. We slaughter animals from our own breeding, almost directly from the yard, without the stress of long transport and housing in the pre-slaughter area. For the production of meat products, we use meat without vegetable substitutes. The products, with the exception of breakfast dishes, intestines and soups, do not contain gluten and are therefore suitable for people with allergies and a gluten-free diet.
Our services also include the operation of a motor station and a sand pit.
