The village of Pstruží belongs to the Microregion Frýdlantsko - Beskydy.
It is located on the slopes of Ondřejník, a mountain with a wonderful view of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy.
The first mention of the village comes from 1581, when it is mentioned in the registers of the Hukvald manor.
Similar to a number of surrounding villages in the foothills, the most important source of livelihood here was the extraction and processing of local resources - wood and iron ore - for many centuries.
