On the northern edge of southern Bohemia, about a kilometer from the town of Milevsko, stands your solitude under the dam of the pond of the same name, Vášův mlýn.
It is one of the mills on the Milevský brook, a right-hand tributary of the Smutná river, which flows into the Lužnice in Bechyně.
