At Fairtrade Czechia and Slovakia, we deal with marketing support for traders and processors involved in the Fairtrade system.
Fairtrade gives farmers and workers from countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America the opportunity to earn a living from their own work under decent conditions. This is not the rule for conventional products, but you can change their position from the position of traders by participating in Fairtrade. In the same way, consumers can contribute to the better living conditions of these people with their daily purchases.
OUR ACTIVITY
- we educate processors, traders and the general public
- we provide traders and processors with information on the possibilities of obtaining Fairtrade certification
- we engage the public in supporting Fairtrade
- we cover the Fairtrade Cities, Fairtrade Schools and Fairtrade Churches and Religious Societies campaign
- we connect and associate organizations active in the area of Fairtrade in the Czech Republic and Slovakia

There are currently a number of products that can be Fairtrade certified:
- Coffee, cocoa, tea, cane sugar
- Bananas and other fruits
- Cotton
- Honey, oils, cereals, dry fruits
- Fruit juices, spices and herbs
- Grapevine
- Cosmetics (bamboo butter)
- Sports balls
