The village of Zvole is located in the district of Žďár nad Sázavou in the Vysočina Region. The village bears the symbolism of will and freedom (from the will) in its name. The village lies in a landscape that is one of the most fertile in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. Since time immemorial, local citizens have been mainly employed in agriculture.
The village has three parts - Zvole, Branišov and Olešinky. It has 657 inhabitants.
The village has a primary school, a library, a restaurant, and a post office. Among the sights is the church of St. Wenceslas.
