The village of Zemětice is located in the district of Pilsen-jih in the Pilsen region. Currently, approx. 307 inhabitants. The village also includes the settlement of Čelákovy and Chalupa.
The first written mention of the village dates from 1115.
The picturesqueness of the village is enhanced by the mature chestnut and linden trees in the village, where you can also find the classicist chapel of St. Lawrence from 1822 and a small reconciliation cross near the monument to those who died in the world wars. Below the village lies a pond and a former mill. North-west of Zemětice lies the Drahovský pond.
There is a municipal office and a library in the village. The Association of Volunteer Firefighters operates here.
The peaks Jahodový vrch (473 m.a.s.l.) and Čelákovská hora (450 m.a.s.l.) are located near the village.
