The village of Bělá nad Svitavou is located in the valley from Brněnec to Lavičná, is part of the Brněnec micro-region and is a member of the voluntary association of Prameny Bělá nad Svitavou municipalities. We are members of the Association of Municipalities and Cities of the Czech Republic and the Euroregion Glacensis. At present, the village has 481 inhabitants.

In the village, the cultural, social and sports life is provided by several associations that organize regular events. The VOX IUVENALIS choir is best known throughout the Czech Republic.
There is a bike path through the village, we are a tourist area. You will also find important cultural monuments, the Church of All Saints, a statue of the Virgin Mary, a monument to John of Nepomuk, a monument to the victims of the First World War, the tomb of Private Ivan Banděrev and a mass grave with the remains of Jewish prisoners.
