Hornosín village can be found in the South Bohemian Region, about eight kilometers north of the town of Blatná in the district Strakonice. The first mention of the village dates back to 1318. The dominant feature of the village is the Chapel of St. Florian with a new bell acquired through a public collection, the bell was consecrated in 2001. Currently, there are a total of 68 inhabitants.
