The village of Číměř is located in the South Bohemian Region 10 km southeast of the town of Jindřichův Hradec. It lies at an altitude of 519 m above sea level and covers an area of 45.71 km2. Číměř is located in a wide and deep valley on the banks of the Koštěnický brook. The village has six associated parts Bílá, Dobrá Voda, Potočná, Nová Ves, Sedlo and Lhota. At present, Číměř has 709 inhabitants.
