The village of Ostrovec-Lhotka is located about 8 kilometers from Zbiroh on the edge of the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area. The village consists of two local parts Ostrovce and Lhotka and now has 106 inhabitants.
The first surviving mention of our village comes from 1115, when it was donated by Prince Vladislav to the Kladruby monastery.
