The village of Větrušice is located in the Praha-východ district in the Central Bohemian region, approximately 20 km southeast of the city of Kralupy nad Vltavou, 20 km west of the city of Neratovice and 22 km north of the city center of Prague. Road III/ 24219 runs around the village of Větrušice.
The village of Větrušice stretches high above the Vltava River on its right bank. The Větrušické Rokle National Nature Reserve stretches between the Vltava River and the village. The protected area is under the care of the AOPK ČR - regional office of Central Bohemia. The reservation was declared in 1969 on an area of about 25 hectares for the purpose of protecting the plant community of the rock steppe and forest steppe type. Mainly thanks to this area, the village is a very peaceful and pleasant location for life and tourism.
The number of inhabitants in the village is 670. The average age of the inhabitants is 38 years. There are 115 children under the age of 15, of which 38 are under the age of 3.
