The village of Kosořín is located in the northeastern part of the Pardubice region in the district of Ústí nad Orlicí, 2.5 km south of the town of Chocně and 5.5 km from Vysoké Mýt. The first written mention appears in a document from 1292, which King Wenceslas II. founded the Zbraslav monastery. Currently, approx. 175 inhabitants. The village has a public water supply, municipal sewerage and natural gas distribution.
Since 1907, there has been a brick belfry in the style of a small chapel, which in later years was equipped with a St. Mary's bell from the workshop of the master bell ringer Tkadlec from Halenkovo in Moravia.
