The village of Bojanovice is located in the Central Bohemian Region in the district of Prague-West and is situated in a beautiful environment of Podbrdské forests and the valley of the river Kocába.

Bojanovice consists of three parts, which correspond to the cadastral areas of the same name and are located southwest of Bojanovice itself: Malá Lečice and Senešnice.

The first written mention of the village comes from land records from 1107, when Prince Svatopluk donated this settlement to the monastery Ostrovsky near Davle.

At present, the village has 491 permanent residents.

The dominant feature of the village is the chapel of St. František Serafinský of Assisi from 1879, which is registered in the list of cultural monuments

The Volunteer Fire Brigade and the Sokol Physical Education Unit operate in the village, whose activities contribute to the creation of social life.
