The village of Jenčice is located in the Český středohoří in the district of Litoměřice.

The first written mention of the village dates back to 1318.

Currently, Jenčice has 327 permanent residents.

The dominant feature of the village is the ruins of Košťálov Castle. Košťál Hill, on which the characteristic ruins of Košťálov can be seen, is of basalt origin - a 488 m high mound.

Near the village grows the largest oskeruše tree in Bohemia, the Košťálovská oskeruše. The village of Oskeruše also has its coat of arms.

The village has a multifunctional playground, a library, a clubhouse and also a game room.
