The village of Březské is located in the district of Žďár nad Sázavou in the region of Vysočina.
The village is located at an altitude of 469 m above sea level and covers an area of 679 hectares. The Březinka and Borovinka streams flow below the village and it flows into the Halda river at the ČD stop.
The first written mention of Březská dates from 1349.
Currently, the village has 185 permanent residents.
The dominant feature of the village is the chapel from 1927 dedicated to the "Assumption of the Virgin Mary". In the lower part of the village there is a modified monument to the fallen of the 1st and 2nd World Wars.
Natural monuments include protected linden trees and the so-called Býčí skála, an interesting stone formation under the Halda pond.
