The village of Krhov is a small village with 150 inhabitants and can be found in the area of Boskovicka brázdy, in the south-west direction from the town of Boskovice and in the north-east direction near the village of Lysice. The village is located on the right bank of the Úmoří river and at the northern foot of Malé Chlum (488 m.a.s.l.). At the top of this hill stands a wooden lookout tower. Forests extend to the south and east of the village. In the western direction from Krhov, the remains of the terrain body of the unfinished highway Vienna - Wroclaw are visible.

A marked route of the local cycle path passes through the village.

Krhov was founded as a mining settlement, the first written mention is from 1409. From the 15th century, iron ore was mined in the vicinity of the village, and in later years stone slate and coal.

In the center of the village stands the beautiful chapel of the Sacred Heart.
