Obec Chrudichromy

The village of Chrudichromy is located at the foot of the 441m Habří hill, gently sloping into the Svitava river valley in the Blansko district.

The first written mention of the village dates from 1386.

Coal was mined in the vicinity of Chrudichrom, and in the middle of the 19th century, cloth brush was grown, which the locals transported as far as Leipzig, Berlin and Hamburg.

Currently, Chrudichromy has 211 inhabitants.

There is a library in the village and the Volunteer Fire Brigade, TJ Sokol, the Šípek Civic Association and the Healthy Living Association are also active here.
