Who we are - and what we do. The Robert Bosch company has been active in the Czech territory since the end of the 19th century, when it also traded with the company Laurin & Klement. The first official Bosch branch was founded in 1920 in Prague and after a forced 44-year break it returned in 1989 and has been active again since December 1991. Several independent subsidiaries of Robert Bosch GmbH Stuttgart are located in the Czech Republic. Bosch business activities are ensured by companies in Prague - the companies Robert Bosch odbytová s.r.o., Bosch Security Systems s.r.o. and partially Bosch Rexroth s.r.o. in Brno. The subsidiary Bosch-Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH, a company with a 50% ownership interest of Robert Bosch GmbH, which trades in household appliances, is still located in Prague - BSH household appliances s.r.o. Bosch production plants are located in Jihlava - Bosch Diesel s.r.o., in České Budějovice - Robert Bosch s.r.o., in Brno - Bosch Rexroth s.r.o. and in Krnov - Dakon s.r.o.
