The main activity of the Institute for the Czech Language is scientific research in the field of the Czech national language, its current state and historical development and its relationship to other languages, especially in terms of vocabulary, grammatical structure, stylistic differentiation and text construction, and in general linguistics. and language didactics. Our other services include teaching the Czech language and foreign languages, verifying language skills and organizing language exams for subjects outside the ASCR to the extent of the free capacity of language courses.
