Since its establishment in 1951, the Research Institute of Animal Production, v. V. I., Has been engaged in basic and applied research with a focus on innovation and the practical use of knowledge in livestock breeding. Our activities also include the implementation of the National Program for the Conservation and Utilization of Genetic Resources of Livestock, the activities of the Scientific Committee for Animal Nutrition and on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture represents the Czech Republic in the European Association for Animal Production (EAAP).
