The Slovany swimming pool - the swimming area of the city of Pilsen is operated by the Slávia Swimming Club Plzeň z.s.
The Slovany swimming pool offers, in addition to an indoor and outdoor 50m pool and a children's pool, for the sports enjoyment of swimmers, aquabels, water polo players, modern pentathletes and water rescuers, as well as other water attractions such as an 86-meter toboggan, a children's paddling pool, wild rivers, 2 x whirlpools, relaxation pool, 2 steam chambers right next to the pool with aromatherapy, the largest sauna in the city of Pilsen with a capacity of 30 "sauna users", a gym with a mirror hall, fitness, but also an accommodation center with a capacity of 72 beds.
The pool was put into operation in 1986 and celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2016, from 2021 an extensive gradual modernization is underway.
The Slovany swimming pool is the most visited leisure - sports and tourist destination not only in the city of Pilsen, but also in the entire Pilsen region.
The Slávia University of Pilsen Swimming Club has long been one of the most successful swimming clubs in the Czech Republic. Our swimmers regularly bring home medals from the Czech Republic Championships both in individual disciplines and in team competitions.
