The West Bohemian Museum in Pilsen, a contributory organization, is one of the largest museum institutes in the Czech Republic in terms of the scope and diversity of its collections. We offer visitors not only a look into history, but also lectures, creative workshops, educational programs for schools and the public.
In our museum buildings you can see a number of year-round exhibits, including Views into the Past of the Pilsen Region, Pilsen City Armory (the largest historical armory in the Czech Republic), The Story on a Thread in the Puppet Museum or seasonal exhibitions in the Museum of Ecclesiastical Art of the Pilsen Diocese monument Vodní hamr Dobřív.
Other services of the museum include a library with a study room, a souvenir shop, rental of a lecture hall and the possibility of organizing wedding ceremonies in selected areas (St. Barbara's Chapel, Rajský dvůr, central staircase in the main building of the ZČM).
We are a contributory organization of the Pilsen Region.
