The village of Potvorov is a village in the northern part of the Plzeň-sever district, eight kilometers northwest of Kralovice. The village has 136 inhabitants, its cadastral area is 622.63 ha. The village is part of the Microregion Kralovicko. The Potvorovský stream flows through the village. The municipality has its own municipal coat of arms and flag.
Today, it can be seen in Potvorov next to the unique, single-nave, late Romanesque church of St. Mikuláš also includes a set of original wooden buildings and a baroque parsonage with a mansard roof. On the facade of the rectory is the coat of arms of the abbot F. Hartmann of Plaš from 1758. Residents have a private general store at their disposal.
