Rybnice village is located in the Pilsen region, Pilsen - North district, between the towns of Plasy and Kaznějov. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1193, when Rybnice is mentioned as a gift from Agnes of Potvor to the Plaská monastery. The village consists of four parts, they are Stará Ves, Nová Ves, Průhon and Brejchalka, currently there are a total of 520 inhabitants. The village is a member of the Dolní Střela Microregion.
