The village Čepřovice is located in the foothills of the Bohemian Forest 7 km from Volyn. Near the village, in the forest complex "Mlaka" is the ruins of the castle Helfenburg, which is the dominant feature of the region. The surrounding landscape is hilly, at an altitude of about 500m.n.m. Agricultural land is managed by ZOD Předslavice. The village of Čepřovice currently has about 200 inhabitants. Today, many buildings are used for recreation. The villages of Jiřetice and Koječín also belong to the village of Čepřovice.
According to available sources, the village of Čepřovice was founded in the 12th century. The first written record is from 1490.
In the village there are several rural Baroque buildings and the settlement of Jiřetice, Koječín are declared a monument zone.
