The village of Hoslovice lies in the district of Strakonice in the foothills of the Šumava Mountains. It is located at an altitude of 618 m above sea level and covers an area of 1, 078 ha. The settlements of Hodějov and Škrobočov are part of the village of Hoslovice. The first written mention of the village dates from 1352. At present, 170 permanent residents live here.
