The village of Řepeč is located in the district of Tábor in the South Bohemian Region. It has an area of 1279 ha and is situated at an altitude of 475 m above sea level. Řepeč lies in the geomorphological area of the Bechyně Uplands in the Lužnice River basin. The first written mention of the village dates from 1283. Part of the village is the village Kášovice. At present, Řepeč has 279 inhabitants.
