The village of Hrejkovice is located in southern Bohemia near Milevsko, almost within sight of Orlík and Zvíkov, with which the history of the village is closely connected. The Hrejkovický rybník, which has an area of 23 ha, stretches above the village, the Hrejkovický stream flows through the village from north to south and flows into the Orlická dam. The administrative territory of the municipality includes the villages of Níkovice, Pechova Lhota and the settlement of Chlumek. Currently, 499 inhabitants live here.
The preserved culturally valuable buildings from the 19th century include chapels in the village in Hrejkovice, Pechov Lhota and Níkovice, as well as timber buildings in Hrejkovice and Pechov Lhota and peasant shields in Níkovice. There are also several stone crosses and the torments of God in the nearby area. In Hrejkovice there is a monument to the soldiers who died in the First World War and there are also two trees protected by the state: a linden and an oak.
In the village of Hrejkovice there is a municipal library and the Association of Volunteer Firefighters and the Hunting Association.
In the surrounding area, you can visit Zvíkov Castle or Orlík nad Vltavou Castle or take a sightseeing cruise on the Orlická Reservoir and much more.
