PQS Technology Ltd. is a traditional European manufacturer and supplier of hydraulic components and systems.
The production of hydraulics in Rakovník began in 1909 in the factory of Ing. Jaroslav Vltavský specializing in the production of hydraulic presses. After the communist coup in 1948, the Vltavský factory became the national enterprise TOS Rakovník, which supplied hydraulics and hydraulic machines and mechanisms to the markets of the Eastern bloc. At the end of the 1980s, the company was privatized, and in the following ten years the new management of the company focused mainly on the development of production technology and the expansion of the hydraulics production program.
After 2001, the company TOS Rakovník, a.s. became part of the holding PQS Technology Ltd.
Currently, PQS Technology Ltd. manufactures hydraulic equipment used in maritime transport, in machinery used for oil production at sea and on land, on handling and lifting equipment used in mines, in logging and for special military vehicles. More than 70% of PQS Technology Ltd.'s production It is exported mainly to the European Union, China, America, the African Union, and the Middle East. Thanks to the export of its products, PQS Technology Ltd. has become one of the world's leading manufacturers of hydraulics.
