The foothill town of Meziboří can be found in the Ústí Region, not far from the town of Litvínov, about twenty kilometers from the district town of Most. Meziboří originated from the village of Schönbach and the status of the town and got its current name in 1960. The city is surrounded by beautiful forests and forms an ideal starting point for trips to the Ore Mountains. Currently there are less than 5000 inhabitants.
