The town of Hostomice can be found in the Ústí nad Labem Region on the border of the Ore Mountains and Husova vrch, near the district town of Teplice. The first written mention of the village can be found as early as 1225. In 2006, the village was promoted to a town by the Parliament of the Czech Republic. At present, a total of 1242 inhabitants live here.
